Biography Prof. Włodzimierz Zieniutycz

Włodzimierz Zieniutycz received M.S.E.E degree (1973), Ph.D. degree (1981) in electrical communication engineering and habilitation (2006) all from the Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland. In 2017 he awarded the title of Professor by the President of Poland.

He is currently Full Professor at Department of Microwaves and Antenna Engineering. In 1981 he was a holder of French Government sholarship at I.N.S.A. Rennes, France where next in 1984 he was a research fellow at the Structures Rayonnantes Laboratory, U. A. au CNRS 834. In 1991 he carried out research supported by Swedish Institut in Department of Network Theory of Chalmers University of Technology, Goteborg, Sveden. His research topics concern the electromagnetic field description of radiation phenomena from planar structures and its application in antenna theory as well as wide band (including UWB) planar antennas and feeding structures design. W. Zieniutycz is the author of about 100 scientific papers, book on antennas and monograph on antennas for phased arrays.
