Biography Prof. Zenon Szczepaniak


Zenon Szczepaniak, Ph.D. Eng., habilitated, Professor of MUT, received the M.Sc. (in optoelectronics) and Ph.D. (in electronics) degrees from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland in 1998 and 2002, respectively. He received the Habilitation degree (in telecommunication-microwave techniques) in 2013 from Military University of Technology (MUT), Warsaw, Poland.

Dr Zenon Szczepaniak has been involved in radiolocation and microwave techniques for 15 years as an employee of PIT-RADWAR S.A. company (former Telecommunications Research Institute), Warsaw, Poland.

Since 2018 he has been with the Institute of Radioelectronics, Faculty of Electronics, Military University of Technology , Warsaw, Poland, where he is currently a Professor of MUT.

His current research interests comprise application of microwave and radar techniques for material investigations, and medical diagnosis, including in-vivo measurements. He is an author or co-author of 65 scientific papers and 16 patents granted.
